How To Make Istanbul Tour

Destination

ITINERARY;

Starts at : 09.30 – Ends at :17.00

Welcome to Istanbul, a city where the past and the present seamlessly blend together. On this tour, we will explore some of the most iconic landmarks that have shaped the city’s history and culture.

First stop, the Saint Sophia Church, also known as Hagia Sophia. This magnificent structure was originally built as a Christian church in the 6th century, then converted into a mosque during the Ottoman era, and finally turned into a museum in the 20th century. You’ll be amazed by its impressive dome, intricate mosaics, and awe-inspiring architecture.

Next, we’ll visit the Mosque of Sultanahmet, also known as the Blue Mosque. This is one of the most famous landmarks in Istanbul, known for its six towering minarets and stunning blue tiles that adorn its interior. You’ll have the opportunity to observe Islamic prayer rituals and learn more about the mosque’s history.

Our third stop will be the Hippodrome, a former chariot-racing arena that has served as a public square for over a millennium. Here, you can admire ancient monuments such as the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpent Column, and the German Fountain, all of which bear witness to the city’s rich history.

After the Hippodrome, we’ll head to the Turkish & Islamic Arts Museum, which houses a vast collection of Islamic art and artifacts from Turkey and around the world. You’ll have the chance to see calligraphy, ceramics, textiles, and other decorative items that represent the beauty and diversity of Islamic art.

Our penultimate stop will be the Topkapi Palace, the former residence of the Ottoman sultans. This sprawling complex is home to many exquisite courtyards, gardens, and pavilions, as well as priceless treasures such as the Topkapi Dagger and the Spoonmaker’s Diamond. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time as you explore the palace’s opulent chambers and admire the breathtaking views of the Bosphorus.

Finally, we’ll end our tour at the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. This vibrant bazaar is home to over 4,000 shops that sell everything from jewelry and textiles to spices and souvenirs. You can haggle with the shopkeepers and pick up some unique items to take home as a memento of your Istanbul adventure.

We hope you enjoyed this tour of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
